  • The work season is approximately Memorial Day to Labor Day.
  • The basic job description is renting motorized and non-motorized watercraft equipment (Boats, Sea-Doos, Paddleboats, Canoes, etc.) to customers on the beach at Bear Lake. This involves checking the equipment in and out, taking reservations, running the till, telling customers the rules, showing how to operate the equipment, launching boats, fueling machines, put equipment away, etc.
  • It is preferred that you live at Bear Lake during the summer. Most employees have a friend or family that have lodging at Bear Lake that they stay in. Limited employee housing is available with our company if you do not have another place to stay.
  • You would be expected to work weekends and holidays. The days off are usually on weekdays Monday-Thursday. On Sunday's we open at 11:00 am which allows employees to go to a church beforehand if they desire. On weekday's we are normally open from 9:00am to about 6:00 pm. On Saturday's we are generally at work from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm.
  • There are opportunities for you to take the equipment out and ride during your days off or on weekdays after work.
  • The normal starting pay for 18 years or older is $8.50/ hour. There is a .25 cent pay raise every other pay period, lots of hours available if you want, and a bonus at the end of the summer.
  • We are the largest company at Bear Lake providing recreation with 6 rental shop locations. We hire a group of 25-30 wonderful employees each summer to staff the 6 locations. (MAP) We have a lot of employees return and many that end up forming lasting friendships.
  • We look for individuals who are committed to working the whole summer, who are hard-working, honest, responsible, dependable, friendly, good with people, and can learn quickly on the job the necessary skills through the training we provide.
  • The job can be considered a fun job, but there is a lot of work and responsibility that goes along with it. Our philosophy is “work hard, play hard”. If you are looking for a job where you can do the minimal amount of work possible with little responsibility, this is not the job for you. If you are looking for a job that is satisfying, adventurous, challenging, fun, and located in one of the most beautiful outdoor settings anywhere in the world, then this is the job for you.
